In one sentence: Chalculate has no networking capability at all — it's not "we promise not to upload", it's "it can't". No data of yours can ever leave your device.
1. Zero-Network Architecture
Both the main app and the keyboard extension contain no networking capability whatsoever: no network code, no network permission requests, no servers. You can verify this from the App's privacy label and the system's network permission list.
2. We Collect Nothing
No personal information is collected and no account is required; no third-party analytics, crash-reporting, advertising or tracking SDKs are integrated; we do not sell, share or transfer any data — there is none to share.
3. About "Full Access"
To provide haptic feedback and key voice on key presses, the keyboard extension requests the system "Full Access" permission. To be explicit: Full Access is used solely for on-device feedback effects. The App has no network access, so keystrokes cannot be logged or transmitted anywhere. You can turn Full Access off anytime (Settings → General → Keyboard); typing and calculation keep working, only haptics and key voice stop.
4. Data Stored on Your Device
The following data lives only on your device (in the App's local container and App Group storage) and is deleted when you uninstall: app settings (theme, key sounds, language preferences); calculation history shown in the history panel; and free-quota counters (first-use date, daily/total usage). Quota is counted per device and never syncs across devices.
5. System Permissions
Notifications (optional): used if you enable on-device reminders such as trial-expiry notices. Content is generated locally and never passes through a server. Declining does not affect any feature.
Photos: the Pro "theme from photo" feature uses the system photo picker — you explicitly pick one image, which is processed locally for theme colors. The App requests no photo-library permission and never uploads the image.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal data at all. If you believe a child has provided us information (even though we have no channel to receive it), contact us at the email below.
